What to do Before Enrollment

If you think you may be eligible for assistance with your premiums the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation has partnered with HealthCare.org to offer a quick calculator.

To review the ACA marketplace plans or to enroll you will need to create an account if you have not done so. This will create a user account and you are not required to enroll in a plan when you create the account.
The Steps to Enrollment

Step 1: Start at MyBlue
VIA‘s MyBlue tool is the place to start. It will compare health care plans and point you to the ACA marketplace if you qualify for a subsidy.
Select "Get a 2014 Quote" to begin

Click continue after filling out the form

Click "No continue"

Click "Calculate", then click "Select a subsidy plan" if available to take you to step 5b. If you are not eligible for assistance you will be directed to step 5a.

Please verify that "Michigan" is selected as your state and click "Apply Online" to continue.

A lot of personal questions will be asked and you will need to verify your identity. All of this is part of the process so don‘t get discouraged.
We want to thank you for using VIA to guide you through the enrollment process. We‘re here to help! Call us at 231-668-7193 should you have any questions.
Insurance providers associate agents with ACA plans to give you local agents who can help. To ensure that VIA has appropriate records as your agent please input our agency identification when you are asked: "Is an Agent helping you?"
